PTC Holdings has been the exclusive local representative of one of the major global miners of thermal coal.

The 900MW Lakvijaya power plant, which generates 50% of the electricity demand of Sri Lanka requires nearly 2.5 million metric tons of thermal coal annually.

Jointly, with our principal we have supplied nearly a million metric tons of thermal coal to the Lakvijaya Power Plant located in Norochcholai, Puttalam over the period from 2019 – 2022.

PTC Holdings remains open to new partnerships in quality assessment, barging and shipping of both dry and liquid bulk cargos.
