At PTC we believe in empowering women. Our workforce is aimed at providing equal opportunities regardless of gender, age or any other discrimination, but based purely on merits.

Women from the local village are part of the workforce at our factory, who directly contribute to the production of our high quality pure Sri Lankan essential oils.

We encourage entrepreneurship by purchasing some of our materials from small spice collectors. This ensures that they receive better prices. In return, we receive raw materials that are traceable up to the farmer, which is a growing requirement in most global markets of spices and essential oils.

Despite the entry of corporations to the spice industry in Sri Lanka, the bulk of produce comes from small spice growers. We at PTC encourage fair trade by purchasing some of our materials directly from farmers. It ensures them better prices for their crop, which in turn promotes the spice-farming sector and the sustainability of the related industries.
